This page will show you some pictures of what happens when you trailer gets rear ended.
No this is not my trailer or my truck, It is a friend of mine and with his consent I have built this page.
Now I am mainly showing you this to remind you the reasons NOT to tow from your bumper.
Had this trailer been hooked onto the bumper, the rear of the tow vehicle would have been severely damaged. as it is the receiver needs to be replaced and the wiring harness rebuilt.
So for those of you who still tow from the bumper. "Don't!" is my advice.
It is worth YOUR safety and your vehicle, A receiver is cheap compared to the repair costs and or deductible of of your insurance.
