This is a great FREE program to detect Spy-Ware and other tracking type of
programs that are on your PC. You probably wont believe the amount of
"spy-ware" that is on yur PC right now. Download this program,
run the update, and it will scan and find all of them for you. Once they
are found, it can remove them for you... One of the best freeware programs I
have seen! Give it a try!
DIYNet
This website is a great resource for the homeowner that likes to do everything himself
or herself. The DIY channel is great by itself, but with this website,
it's extremely great! There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of do it
yourself articles and instructions. Check it out and call your cable
company if you don't already have this channel!
Google
This is the best search engine today. I use
it regularly for all my searching needs, from technical to personal. It is
organized, in my opinion, a lot better than most sites. I also use the
Google bar on my IE for quick searches...
Expedia
We have used Expedia.com a number of times to purchase tickets
online. They are very easy to use and have really good rates on
airfare. There are probably some that have cheaper rates, but we have had
really good service with Expedia and they are the only one that we can
personally recommend. We have had some less than perfect experiences with
other brokers and would recommend Expedia over all the rest at this point!
MapQuest
Ever get lost due to someone's bad directions? With
MapQuest you can pretty much get directions for anywhere you need to go. There are a lot of other mapping sites, but we believe that
this one out-does them all!!
Ebay
Of course we all know the site, but I have to add it in here... I
have bought MANY items and sold a few on Ebay and have had great success with
it! If you have never been here, please go and at least "window
shop". If you are worried about buying stuff (bidding) on Ebay, send
me an email and I will give you my take on it, as well as some tips...
